My name is Kyla!
Just a passionate photographer whose journey began with a heartfelt desire to capture the fleeting moments of her two young children, Ella (2) and Tate (9 months). As a young mother, I wanted to create beautiful, lasting memories of her early years, and what started as a personal project quickly evolved into a profound love for photography.
My Story
I was lucky enough to have lived in several different places growing up. I've gone from desert (Mesquite, Nevada) to forest (Eureka, Montana). And even to a different country (Raymond, Alberta, Canada)! Each place holds a special place in my heart but I am happy to now call Dallas, Texas HOME.
My family is my biggest support! My husband and I met on a golf course in Montana in 2021, and we've been golfing together ever since. We now have a two children together, Ella Rose (2) and Tate Thomas (9 months).
When I'm not behind the camera or taking care of my babies, you'll find me crocheting amigurumi or baking sourdough in the kitchen. I love to make a house feel like a home; somewhere warm and cozy and welcoming. I think this drives my passion for photography. I love to capture those moments that resonate with warmth and personal significance. For me, every photograph is an opportunity to create a visual narrative that transforms everyday scenes into cherished memories, much like turning a house into a home.
